To belong to the Warrior's Guild is to belong to the pinnacles of glory. Their names are rejoiced within every corner of their world, their martial prowess unrivaled, and their pride immeasurable. From the Earldoms of Borough, to the provinces in Camponia, there lies a monument to the Warrior's Guild defense of humanity. To join them is to become a living legend.

Ser Tulip Aelric IV, a Boroughvian knight barely past his twentieth year, has dreamed of such a joining. His hunger for chivalric glory has carried his blade far, farther than anyone else his age, and yet it is not enough to the Warrior's Guild for induction. It is only when upon the Camponian island of Oppen does Tulip receive his chance.

Numerous villages surrounding the provincial capital, Oppidium, have cried out for the visiting Empress to handle what they claim to be a wyrm, a draconic being without wings, and an affinity for the subterranean caverns below. With no warrior guildsmen on the isle present, Tulip seizes his chance to assert himself as a legend, but the predispositions of the surface carry no weight in the caverns.
